Dance Teachers:
EmmaEmma is a 17 year old college freshman who started dancing at the age of 4. She began by taking lessons at a prestigious studio in the Indianapolis area; however, she soon felt called to use her passion for dancing to glorify the Lord. Soon after, she began taking lessons with ONE49 Dance, a group on the southside of Indianapolis that offers dance classes that glorify
the Lord. For the past eight years she has attended Dance Revolution. At DR, students learn amazing technique and innovative choreography from one of the nation's best faculty. They learn the true purpose of dance while utilizing their talents in a positive way. (www.dance-revolution.com) Emma has taken classes in ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip-hop, bollywoood, krumping, pop nlock, and modern. She and her sister felt called to start Hand and Feet Dance Studio as a ministry to other girls interested in dancing for the Lord. This is their fifth year teaching classes. Not only is Emma passionate about dance, but also she is passionate about the orphans in Haiti and Africa. Desiring to major in nursing, she hopes to be able to serve African people once she graduates from college. Maybe she’ll even have the opportunity one day to teach dance there!
